About Levi Sap Nei Thang

Levi Sap Nei Thang, a multi-talented entrepreneur and philanthropist, grew up in a mountainous region surrounded by nature’s transcendent beauty. Enjoying nature’s vibrant and exotic life gave Levi the solace she needed during her childhood years. 

Levi Sap Nei ThangShe went on to study Physics in university. Her passion to understand the law of nature, made Levi pursue Physics and eventually Theology, as her faith in Christ further provides her a holistic framework for the understanding nature.



Her entrepreneurship endeavors in the United States began with the creation of perfumes along with designer’s handbags. She also has successful ventures in real estates and energy sectors. 

Levi Sap Nei Thang who lived in the United States during the period when Myanmar was subject to international sanctions in the 2000s. These sanctions had resulted in significant setbacks for Myanmar's technology and human resource development. Levi Sap Nei Thang led the initiative to develop the first ISO unicode Burmese language typeface, which was widely used until today. This contribution propelled Myanmar forward in the digital revolution at a period when multinational technology companies were unable to invest in Myanmar.

She personally made her perfume from fragrance formulation to packaging. Her perfume was designed for people with allergies to fragrances like herself. In 2020, she decided to rebrand her perfumes with her very own name, “Levi Sap Nei Thang”, followed by the launching of a limited and signature line of products in mid 2021. Handbags and Watches were launched in mid 2022.

Levi is also known for her dedication towards promoting Myanmar’s culture, tourism, trade, and diversity through her active engagement with the arena of world expositions (EXPO). Apart from her participation in numerous EXPO events, she was commissioned to Antalya Horticulture Expo 2016 in Turkey (2016) for 6 months, Taichung Flora Expo held in Taiwan (2018-2019) for 6 months and Nance International Flora Expo, in France (2019).

In addition, her leadership and perseverance have immensely contributed to the successful implementation of Myanmar Pavilion at Expo 2020

Since she was commissioned to World Expo 2020 Dubai in 2017, one of her intention was to establish and to strengthen the diplomatic ties between UAE and Myanmar. This vision was accomplished when a historic diplomatic agreement was signed between the UAE and Myanmar in 2019. 

The World Expo 2020 Dubai was postponed to 2021-2022 due to pandemic. During pandemic, her native land Myanmar faced political challenges therefore she had to manage the Myanmar pavilion alone with her team. Furthermore she also engaged international diplomacy under very challenging circumstances. Leaders from around the world stood together with her when she celebrated the success of Myanmar participation at Expo 2020 Dubai. She has indeed promoted her culture and her people among 193 countries represented.

In October 2022, she signed contract with the Mayor of Kahramanmaraş for Expo 2023 Kahramanmaraş (Turkey) to exhibit the American culture. She has been living in the US for many decades so she truly loves the American culture. Through this project, her friendship with the Mayor and the Deputy Mayor of Kahramanmaraş has flourished. In February 2023, a 7.8 earthquake devastated the Kahramanmaraş region. Nations around the world are responding to help.
