Anointing of Esther
Book of Esther shows us about a young Jewish girl by the grace of God became the queen. The life of Esther is so inspiring that through her bravery she was able to save the entire nation. Esther had the clear vision of the God’s calling in her life and she responded to that calling by preparing herself physically and spiritually. God is looking for such kind of Esther’s today, where she was risking her life to save the nation and further to God’s major plan. Esther had the anointing of God which made her great in spite of all the struggles and finding the favor of the King. When you have the call and anointing of the God it doesn’t matter who you are, where you are and what ever background maybe; if you let God to dwell in you, He can use it for His glory!
She was chosen because she was obedient not only to Mordecai but also to the Hegai who was in charge of. She was asked not to reveal that she was a Jewish and she sticked to that order when she became the queen of the nation. The Anointing in her made her to be obedient for the in charges and brought favor in their eyes.
Esther 4:14 clearly says the statement said by Mordecai “For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father's family will perish. And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?" She didn’t know the purpose of her call until Mordecai said this statement and this made a burning zeal in her heart. She made a call to fast for three days without consuming any food or water. She prepared herself in prayer and fasting to show herself before the King to get the favor.
Esther had a good view point about both the King of Kings and the King Ashasuerus. Esther knows what was written in the name of king would never be withdrawn. Mightiest empires of the world were under the control of King Ashasuerus to that point of history. On the other hand Esther had the clear understanding about the knowledge of God that she had to come to the inner courts of the King of Kings(God) before making her appearance to the King Ahasuerus. She prioritized prayer, so God honored her zeal and love for Him and she gained the favor in the eyes of both God and her husband King Ahasuerus. The favor of heaven dwelled upon Esther when she spoke to the King and gained the heart of the king.
God is looking up for the Esther’s in this generation. Let the mighty anointing of God’s favor dwell upon those who stand before the courts of heaven and earth.
