Prayer is a powerful tool which connects both Heaven and Earth. The power of prayer should never be underestimated as prayer can change any person and circumstances and makes impossible to possible through prayer. Scriptures from James 5:16-18 says “…The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.” Elijah a man of God prayed earnestly to God that it would not rain and God answered his prayer by stopping the rain for nearly three and half years. Prayers are invisible but we can see visible actions of the prayer on the situation through prayer.

Remember the power of prayer is not because the person praying rather the power which is inside the Lord who is being prayed to. Scriptures from 1 John 5 14-15 says “And we are confident that he hears us whenever we ask for anything that pleases him. And since we know he hears us when we make our requests, we also know that he will give us what we ask for." God answers our prayers if it is align with his will. Jesus taught the disciples regarding the Lord’s prayer and one line says “Let you will be done as it is in heaven and in earth” Your prayer becomes so powerful so that God answers it when it is according to his mighty will. When we pray passionately and purposefully, according to God's will, God responds powerfully!

In order to get your prayers so powerful, just praying alone wont work much it needs to be tied up with faith. Scripture says it is impossible to please God without faith. When we read through the bible it clearly shows who God delivered and healed people when they had their faith laid over the Almighty. Daniel in the lions' den; the deliverance of Shadrach, Meshech and Abednego from the fiery furnace of Nebuchadnezzar in Babylon; Coming out of Egypt from Pharaoh and walking through the Red Sea. Miracles performed by Jesus of Nazareth—the Son of God—in healing the diseased, the blind, the lame, and the deaf everywhere faith played a major role in bringing the answers to their prayers. One famous quote says “More prayer more power and less prayer less power”. Prayers can safeguard from all the spiritual warefare which the ruler of this earth throw against us. Power of prayers can defeat all the Goliaths in our life and secure victory over the powers of earth.
